Below you will find our annual special format offer from our long term Austrian suppliers, Schloss Gobelsburg. We are offering you the chance to pre-order the magnificent 2022 vintage in varying sizes from half bottles all the way up to an astonishing 18 litre Goliath!
For Schloss Gobelsburg, in Langenlois, bud break in 2022 was very late which meant they were spared any damage from Spring frost. From May through to July, the rains increased gradually while other winemaking regions suffered from drought. From August onwards the rain relented and the Danube region experienced an Indian summer with above average temperatures into October and before harvest. The estate has a positive outlook for this vintage and as always will be bottling wines with both exceptional precision and quality.
The wines will be bottled in Autumn and shipped to us in November, so there is plenty of time to take stock before the Christmas holidays.
